Mr Mkhuseli Gquma
St Matthews High School Principal
He completed his Senior Certificate (STD 10) IN 1979 at Mpambani Mzimba High School. He went to study at the University of Fort Hare where he completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in 1984, a Higher Education Diploma (HED) in 1985, and an Advanced Certificate in Education (ACE-School Leadership) in 2011. He further went on to obtain a Bachelor of Education (BED) at Rhodes University in 1995.
- From 1986 to 1988 he was a Post Level One Educator.
- 1989 to 1990 he was a Head of Division in Social Sciences.
- 1991 to 2006 he got a promotion to the position of Deputy Principal.
- 2006 he became Acting Principal
- 2007 to date he became Principal of St Matthews High School.
- Mr Gquma currently teaches Geography for grades 8 to 12 and he has 28 years of teaching experience.
